Wedding Colors &amp; Attire/ Colores y Vestimenta de la Boda 💜🩶 Our wedding colors for the bridal party are lavender for the bridesmaids and dark gray for the groom and groomsmen. 💜We kindly ask our guests to please avoid wearing lilac, light purple, or light lilac, so the bridal party colors remain special.💜 🩷 Please avoid pink, fuchsia, and rose tones, as these colors will be worn by the bride’s former cheerleading team. Formal Attire To honor the sacredness of our Catholic church ceremony, we kindly ask guests to wear formal attire. Women: Long formal dresses or elegant evening attire. A shawl or wrap is optional for the church. Men: Suit or dress shirt with dress pants (tie optional). As our wedding will take place at the beginning of summer in Fort Lauderdale, we recommend light, breathable fabrics to stay comfortable. The reception will be indoors, so feel free to dress elegant and ready to celebrate with us.Kindly avoid overly casual attire such as jeans, shorts, or sneakers. Vestimenta Formal Para honrar la solemnidad de nuestra ceremonia en la iglesia católica, les pedimos amablemente usar vestimenta formal. Mujeres: Vestidos largos formales o vestimenta elegante. Our Wedding

In July 2020, in the middle of quarantine, we found true love.Tim was raising his son Liam on his own since he was just one year old — at that time Liam was six — and I, Fanny, had my two children: Alejandro, nine years old, and Isabella, five.We talked for hours every single day on video calls… until the following week, when we had our first date — and it became the last first date of our lives.Since July 9, 2020, we have been together, and we will remain together until the day God calls us into His presence.Our second date was with our three children, with whom we have built a home filled with highs and lows, lots of action, laughter, and energy… along with our dog Ozzie, our best friend and loyal companion.We got engaged in the intimacy of our home, during the celebration of our 4th anniversary, in the place where we have built our home, our laughter, our tears, and our dreams.Now we await God’s blessing on our wedding day, asking Him to protect our family and guide our steps, as well as the steps of our children, family, and friends.En julio de 2020, en plena cuarentena, conocimos el verdadero amor.Tim, criando solo a su hijo Liam desde que tenía 1 año —en ese momento Liam tenía 6— y yo, Fanny, con mis dos hijos: Alejandro de 9 años e Isabella de 5.Hablamos por mil horas cada día por videollamada… hasta que, a la semana siguiente, tuvimos nuestra primera cita —y fue también la última primera cita de nuestras vidas.Desde el 9 de julio de 2020 hemos estado juntos, y estaremos juntos hasta el día que Dios nos llame a su presencia.Nuestra segunda cita fue con nuestros tres hijos, con quienes hemos formado un hogar lleno de altas y bajas, mucha acción, risas y energía en nuestra casa… junto a nuestro perrito Ozzie, nuestro mejor amigo y compañero fiel.Nos comprometimos en la intimidad de nuestra casa, durante la celebración de nuestro aniversario #4, en el lugar donde hemos construido nuestro hogar, nuestras risas, nuestras lágrimas y nuestros sueños.Ahora esperamos la bendición de Dios el día de nuestro matrimonio, para que proteja nuestra familia, guíe nuestros pasos y los de nuestros hijos, familiares

We advise our guests to fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. This location is about 10 minutes away from hotels and the wedding venues. Travelers can most likely get away with not having to rent a car as Uber/Lyft rides around this area are about $10-$20 per trip (rates may vary due to time of day and surge pricing). The hotels selected are centrally located and walking distance/short rides to restaurants, bars, shopping, and the beach. If you plan to fly into Miami International Airport, the drive to Fort Lauderdale is about 45 minutes - 1 hour depending on traffic. I would recommend renting a car in this instance however there are shuttles from Miami International to Fort Lauderdale International Airport.

Iconic hotel and beach resort with family ties in the same neighborhood as the wedding reception. We were unable to get a room block secured in time, but they may have off season rates starting in June. Two amazing pools right on the beach and an outside restaurant/bar area with plenty of outdoor activities available (mini golf, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball court, etc.). A little slice of paradise.

If you are into getting a great morning walk or renting some bikes and hitting scenic trails, Birch State Park located at Sunrise Blvd and A1A is just for you. Stop by and enjoy the nature Fort Lauderdale has to offer with stunning views of the intercoastal.

There is no better way to kill a few hours and take in all Fort Lauderdale has to offer then a ride on the water taxi. Tickets are available for prepurchase on their website. Dubbed as the "Venice of America", the water taxi has several stops where you can stop and have lunch, see the sites, and is continuous throughout out day. Waxys is a Howley family tradition and a central meeting place for family and friends. Grab a pint of Guiness or your favorite lager on tap, enjoy their classic Irish fare, and catch a game on one of several their TVs. The staff and regulars are mostly family friends and will make you feel welcome.

The true Fort Lauderdale experience is not complete without a visit to grab some seafood and a few drinks at the world famous Southport Raw Bar. Come experience the laid back, towny vibe that has made this establishment a true institution for well over 50 years. Very reasonably priced and a great place to kick back.

The Elbo Room is an iconic Fort Lauderdale establishment located on the corner of Las Olas Boulevard and A1A. A down and dirty mecca that is an anchor of the Fort Lauderdale beach bar scene. Recently, it has been the main gathering of the two-time Stanly Cup Champion Florida Panthers and our gold medal winning hockey team. Great live music and always a party. 21 and over.

The beautiful Las Olas Boulevard is basically the Rodeo Drive of Fort Lauderdale which features high end boutiques, art galleries, and plenty of great restaurants.
